An intelligent synchronization controller based on adaptive neurons is introduced in the paper [ST7]. The method of designing frequency and phase compositive synchronization controllers using two neurons is studied, and an initial value selection method of neuron weighting coefficients is presented and experiments carried out both in the laboratory and in an actual hydroelectric power station. The authors conclude that this novel synchronization controller has good control properties which can make turbines synchronize quickly.
